Dr Antoinette Mowbray

BMed, DCH, DRANZCOG (Advanced), FRACGP, FACRRM

Dr Antoinette Mowbray is a rural General Practitioner and GP Obstetrician who enjoys providing comprehensive, patient-centred care to individuals and families across all stages of life. She holds advanced qualifications in obstetrics and women’s health and works across both community and hospital settings.

Dr Mowbray grew up in Far East Gippsland and has worked in the Gippsland region for many years. She is committed to delivering safe, locally accessible maternity and medical care for rural families.

She is also involved in the education and support of medical students and registrars, particularly in women’s health and rural procedural skills.

Outside of work, Dr Mowbray enjoys gardening, animals and classical violin, and values the strong sense of community that comes with rural practice.

Dr Mariam Herz

MBBCh, FRACGP

Dr Mariam Herz graduated from medical school in Egypt in 2010 and moved to Australia in 2013 to join her husband, Dr Mina. She completed her early medical training in Gippsland, working at Latrobe Regional Hospital (LRH), Central Gippsland Health Service (CGHS), and Bairnsdale Regional Health Service (BRHS).

Dr Mariam commenced her General Practice training in 2018 and achieved Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in April 2021.

Her clinical interests include women’s health (including IUD insertion), palliative care, paediatrics, and chronic disease management. She is well loved by both patients and staff for her warm, compassionate approach and commitment to high-quality, patient-centred care.  She will be starting her obstetrics diploma training in 2026 and is excited to be a part of the GP obstetric team.

Outside of work, Dr Mariam enjoys sewing and crocheting, and has a particular fondness for needlework.
