Countryside Medical Centre offers convenient appointment times to support your healthcare needs. Our team is committed to providing personalised, patient-centred care in a welcoming and supportive environment.
Standard consultations are scheduled for 15 minutes, with longer appointments available upon request. If you have multiple concerns, complex health needs, or feel you may require additional time, please let our reception team know when booking so we can allocate the appropriate appointment length.
Telehealth and telephone consultations are available upon request and may be suitable where a physical examination is not required. To be eligible for a Medicare rebate, patients must have attended the clinic for a face-to-face consultation within the last 12 months.
Patients who have up to date contact details will receive an appointment reminder either through HotDoc or by SMS. Please ensure your contact details are kept up to date during each visit to continue receiving reminders.
New patients will be booked for a long consultation to enable a full history to be taken.
If you feel you need more time with your doctor or have more than one problem to discuss with them, you can request a double appointment when you are making your booking. We encourage this to minimise waiting time to see the doctor.
If you are unable to attend an appointment for any reason, please inform the clinic with at least 4 hours notice. This allows the appointment time to be offered to another patient.
A $45.00 missed appointment fee will be invoiced for any missed consultations. $90 will apply for long or extended appointments.
*This fee must be settled before you can rebook and is not claimable through Medicare.
If you are running late for your appointment, please notify reception as soon as possible.
Fees may apply if your appointment is required to be rescheduled due to the doctors’ patient bookings.
If unforeseen circumstances prevent you from cancelling in time, please let us know. We’re happy to review your situation on a case-by-case basis.
